Politics, Pop Culture and the"49 Clicks" Podcast

As was the case for many, the pandemic got me hooked on TikTok. However, I slowly found myself craving grounded long-form content with less stimulation and revisited the OG social video app - Youtube. It was a relief to see that many familiar faces from the Canadian art and film community had moved there as well and were making "slow content". I was inspired by all of the Canadian talent and- after far too long as an observer only- I started my own channel! And you guys... we have already surpassed A MILLION VIEWS. I cannot thank those of you who are already part of the community enough. Read on if you want to know what I've been up to and what to expect moving forward.

49 Clicks Podcast

I have a podcast! Well, my production company, Be Colour Productions, has a podcast which I am co-hosting called "49 Clicks". It's a completely Canadian production - with no AI used start to finish - where we discuss the news, politics and pop culture. My co-host is fellow Canadian content creator Marta Summers, a disability advocate who bravely talks online about her experiences living with bipolar and CPTSD and a pop culture expert.

From Heated Rivalry to privacy laws, we have been discussing a wide range of topics important to Canadians. We've also hosted some incredible guests including Canadian author and keynote speaker Chris Paul Rainbows and Canadian-owned social media app Gander's CEO Ben Waldman and have so much more in store.

Me?

I'm very grateful for those who've taken an interest in my career. I know that I tend to move through the digital world wearing thick armour made from my creations but I have come to recognize the value of sharing one's journey through transparency and vulnerability.  I will be sharing more of myself and my life and am exploring how I would like to do so. Stay tuned.
